Participant-led NDIS support matching
NableU exists to make support easier to access, easier to coordinate and more useful in everyday life. Our NDIS support marketplace connects people around their needs, communication style, interests and goals. You choose who to approach, what to share and how to proceed. Support comes first, within a wider platform for community connection, services and private career planning.

Support should fit the person.
A service category and a postcode are only part of the decision. Communication style, access needs, experience, interests and the way someone works all shape a support relationship. NableU helps you explore those details, ask questions and choose who you want to work with. Your goals, preferences and boundaries guide the process.
Participant first. Choice and control.
These are familiar words across the NDIS. But the words mean little when a workflow still makes a provider, administrator or platform the practical decision-maker.
NableU is being designed so the participant remains the owner of the brief, the relationship, the consent and the final decision. Other people can help without taking that ownership away.
Their goals, preferences, boundaries and definition of fit set the work.
People choose what is shared, with whom, for what purpose and when access ends.
A coordinator or nominee can help without becoming the system's default decision-maker.
Clear options, saved preferences, exportable records and visible next steps reduce the burden of exercising control.
That is what participant first means in the product: not a promise above the interface, but the rules underneath it.
NableU brings participant-led support matching, direct relationships, agreements and session planning together. The aim is practical support that fits the person, not another directory or an unnecessary intermediary. Community, service listings, private career planning and accessible tools are already implemented foundations of the wider platform. They are not just distant ideas; availability depends on the release, account and permissions.
NableU will help people look for support using the things that actually affect fit: communication style, accessibility, experience, working approach, interests, location and support needs.
It should be easier to understand your options, compare them on meaningful grounds, and contact somebody without having to perform competence for a system that is already consuming too much of it.
Software cannot replace judgement, relationships or lived experience. It can remove unnecessary friction and make those things easier to find.
Start with the support you want and the way you want to work with someone. Use the information and conversations to decide what fits.
Describe your goals, support needs, interests and preferences. Include how you communicate, your access needs, location and the support you want.
Review the experience, skills, interests and other information people have shared. Use compatibility information to identify options and questions worth exploring.
Contact the people you choose. Discuss availability, expectations, boundaries and the work involved before deciding whether to begin a support relationship.
Bring service agreements and planned sessions together. If a support coordinator helps, their involvement follows the access you have chosen to give.

Support is our starting point, not the limit of a person’s life. NableU already has implemented foundations for a wider public offering.
A local Community wall with deliberate audience choices, private drafts and ways to raise concerns. Connection does not require sharing an exact home location.
Search and self-described service listings form a broader discovery foundation. A listing is not an endorsement or a guarantee of availability, qualifications or outcomes.
Keep a goal, strengths and a practical next step together. Career planning is separate from disability-support requests and is not automatically shared with employers, providers or AI.
Shared themes, high contrast, keyboard navigation and clear saved or unsaved states aim to reduce the effort of using the platform. Real-user accessibility testing remains ongoing.
These foundations exist in the software; they are not a declaration of a separate, fully launched public service. What you can use depends on the current release, your account and permissions. Some capabilities remain in testing or planned.
Explore the planned features and user experience for participants, support workers, support coordinators and the people responsible for safe, auditable operations.
Search local support by skills, availability, interests, communication style, access needs and meaningful fit.
Participant experienceAnswer the person’s actual brief, maintain trusted relationships and keep sessions, hours and evidence clear.
Support worker experienceFind workers and manage delegated relationships without transferring ownership away from the participant.
Coordinator experienceHandle consent, evidence and account actions through narrow permissions, explicit reasons and durable audit records.

Independent representation, systemic accountability and meaningful reform.
Research
Research programme in development
We are building a participant-led research programme. Approved projects, participation opportunities and publications will appear here as they become available.
Project descriptions will set out the research questions, methods and current stage of the work.
Each opportunity will explain what taking part involves and how to make an informed choice. Using NableU does not enrol you in research.
Findings will be shared with their methods, limitations and practical implications when they are ready to publish.
The platform already contains the basis of a wider public offering through Community, services, private career planning and shared accessibility tools. The directions below build on that foundation; they are ambitions, not a claim that every service or integration is available today.
A better way to find, compare and approach providers using compatibility, accessibility and lived relevance rather than broad service labels alone.
Finding practitioners whose communication, clinical approach and accessibility practices fit the person seeking care.
Helping people find compatible friends, groups, hobbies, local activities and communities without forcing everybody through conventional social platforms.
Practical tools that help people understand information, make decisions, communicate needs and retain continuity across fragmented systems.
The larger idea
People should remain the authors of their own lives.
Accessibility is part of the system, not a feature added after somebody complains.
Different cognitive and communication needs are real design requirements.
Trust comes from clarity, accountability and useful information—not polished claims.
Cognitive equity means people should not lose access or opportunity because a system was designed around somebody else’s mind.
NableU perspective
Care must be measured by human outcomes, not administrative activity.
Australia counts referrals, appointments, complaints and funded hours. But who is responsible when people still cannot obtain usable help? NableU investigates the accountability gap across disability advocacy, NGOs and care services, and proposes twelve measurable reforms.

An NDIS support marketplace helps people find and connect with support workers and providers. NableU brings discovery, direct relationships, service agreements and session planning together, with the participant’s needs and preferences guiding the process.
You can use location alongside your support needs and preferences when exploring workers. Availability varies by area, support type and individual worker. Confirm where someone works, when they are available and whether they can provide the support you need before making arrangements.
Yes. You can choose to involve a coordinator in finding workers and organising support through explicit permissions. Their access follows the permissions you give, and you can review or withdraw that access. See how support coordination works.
A listing or label should be read according to the specific information it confirms. Check the individual worker or provider’s details, relevant qualifications and registration information, together with any requirements for the particular service and your funding arrangements.
Compatibility information helps you identify people to consider and questions to ask. Discuss your needs, check relevant information and decide whether the relationship works for you. NableU does not guarantee a suitable match, funding eligibility or a particular outcome.
NableU Community Systems Incorporated is a registered NSW incorporated association, established on 4 August 2026.
It exists for public benefit. It can build services, platforms, subscriptions and revenue-generating programs where they advance that purpose. Revenue supports the work; it is not distributed to members simply because they are members.
That matters. Community benefit and competent execution are not opposites.
NableU is available now
NableU needs participants, workers, providers, clinicians, advocates, community organisations, researchers, technologists and people who understand what existing systems keep getting wrong. We are building a broad stakeholder pool now, not calling ten people at the end and declaring the work tested.
